Coffee Lover: Trebella is Très Bien

July 13, 2008

Alright. I just had the best cup of coffee I think I’ve ever brewed in my life. It’s sweetness was just perfect (maybe cinnamon?) and it was so smooth with a tinge of some kind of almond flavor. Actually it kind of reminded me of Mexican coffee. Regardless, it was divine. A package of it had been sitting in my cabinet for a while so I decided to try it out after trying Martinson’s %100 Columbian Coffee, which turned out to be %100 Bitter Shit.

Sadly, as you can see on the package, Trebella is made specifically for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Damn them! If anyone out there knows how I can manage to get a hold of some in spite of this please let me know. I’d never heard of The Second Cup, which is probably because there are none in the United States, which leads me to question why the good people of The Second Cup Ltd. would taunt us Americans with their fabulously roasted flavors in Fairmont Hotels. Ah, le sigh.

With Alotta Love,

  1. Thanks for the tip, I will try and get my hands on some, it sounds like some nice coffee!

  2. Sound like a good reason to book at stay at the Fairmont Hotels. Maybe someone there knows who the roaster is and if it is sold under another label.
